VITILAN electric bikes are backed by model-based manufacturer coverage for the original owner. T7, U7, L5, and I7pro models are covered by an 18-month all-inclusive manufacturer warranty against manufacturing defects, while V3 and U3 models are covered by a 12-month all-inclusive manufacturer warranty against manufacturing defects. Free accessories are not covered.

Warranted parts are shipped within the continental United States only. If the bike is moved to another country, parts will only ship to the original country of delivery.

Warranty Coverage Overview

Dear VITILAN customer, we are glad that you have chosen a VITILAN electric bike. This warranty applies to the original owner only and is not transferable. Coverage is intended for manufacturing defects, not general wear, misuse, or accidental damage.

VITILAN will replace parts deemed defective or damaged, including qualifying shipping damage, free of charge, unless the damage is caused by customer misuse. All warranty review and battery evaluation must go through the official VITILAN customer service team.

Important Warranty Note

Free accessories are not covered by the warranty. Warranty applies only to the original owner and only when the bike has been purchased directly from VITILAN’s official channels or an authorized dealer.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover every issue. It is limited to qualifying manufacturing defects and does not apply to wear items, misuse, accidents, or unauthorized changes.

  • Defects inherent in the normal service life of the product
  • Accident, abuse, misuse, abnormal use, stunts, racing, or activities outside intended product use
  • Improper storage or abnormal contact with liquids, moisture, sand, dirt, or electrical impact
  • Careless riding, accidental e-bike falls, obstacle-related crashes, or falls involving children or minors
  • Unauthorized modification or incorrect installation
  • Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage caused by human factors unless caused by VITILAN
  • Products with frame numbers, barcodes, or serial numbers removed, altered, damaged, or illegible
  • Defects caused by accessories, products, or peripherals not provided or approved by VITILAN
  • Improper assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, repair, or adjustment
  • External causes such as collision, fire, flood, lightning, earthquake, tornado, theft, vandalism, or improper power source use

Battery Warranty

The battery warranty period follows the warranty policy of each e-bike model. Defective batteries will be repaired or replaced free of charge by the customer service team. No cash compensation will be made, and warranty dates are based on the original purchase date.

Only the VITILAN customer service team can directly evaluate batteries and determine whether a battery is defective.

Battery Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Charging the battery with an unsuitable charger
  • Improper use of the battery charger
  • Damaged seals or signs of tampering
  • Use of the battery with equipment other than the designated e-bike
  • Reduced battery power caused by long-term use, battery aging, or suddenly cold weather

Modification Warning

Every VITILAN electric bike is strictly tested before leaving the factory. Major modifications are not recommended, and the warranty does not cover improper or negligent use after modification.

Warranty Conditions

This warranty policy is only valid when all required conditions are met. If these conditions are not met, warranty coverage may be denied.

Official Purchase Source The electric bike must be purchased directly from VITILAN’s official website, online store, or an authorized dealer.
Original Owner The electric bike must remain with the original purchaser and first owner.
Intended Use The bike must be used for its intended purpose and not outside normal product expectations.
No Unauthorized Repair The electronic equipment must not have been repaired or altered without authorization.
Customer Installation Responsibility If damage is caused by incorrect customer installation, the customer is responsible for replacement parts and shipping costs.
Age Requirement The rider and purchaser must be over 18 years old and legally able to purchase and ride the e-bike.

Additional Policies

  • VITILAN is not responsible for accidents or injuries that occur during product use
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, VITILAN’s liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price
  • VITILAN will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages or losses
  • VITILAN may update products and designs without obligation to update products already in customer hands
  • If a credit card chargeback occurs and the customer still owns the product, the warranty will be suspended until the chargeback is resolved
Service Philosophy

VITILAN states that its customer service team serves customers with respect, kindness, patience, and friendliness. However, rude or vulgar language toward staff may result in a warning and can lead to refusal of service, refunds, account termination, voided warranties, or canceled orders at VITILAN’s discretion.
